Emergency Care and After Office Hours
Dental emergencies rarely ever occur at convenient times. At Dental Care South, we strive to be comprehensive in nature with professional hygiene appointments in order to minimize dental emergencies. If you are a current patient who has a dental emergency after hours, please call our office at 205-752-1929 and you will be directed to our emergency call information.
Appointments
Our office is open Monday through Thursday from 8am – 5pm. Because we know your time is valuable, we make sure your visit happens as professionally and quickly as possible. It is easy to request an appointment with us online. If you cannot keep your scheduled appointment we ask that you notify us at least 48 business hours in advance. If you see that you will be delayed, please let us know right away.
Cancellation Policy
If you know that you will be late to your appointment, please let us know right away. If you cannot keep your scheduled appointment, we ask that you notify us at a minimum of 48 business hours in advance.
Failure to notify the office within 48 business hours of your appointment time will result in a $75 broken appointment fee. After 3 broken appointments, we ask that you put a down payment on your appointment at the time of booking.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. It is important that we ensure all patients are seen in a timely manner and are given the treatment they deserve, and complying with the above policy will allow us to do so.
Insurance and Billing
Our practice accepts most traditional insurance plans. We ask that you contact us to verify acceptance of your plan. If you have any questions about insurance or billing, please speak to our Financial Coordinator. We are more than happy to file insurance claims for your reimbursement as long as you are free to choose your own dentist.
Payment Options
You can pay for your dental treatments with cash, check or credit/debit card which is payable at the time of treatment. We also accept most major dental insurances as well as the CareCredit Card. Financing Options
CareCredit helps you pay for dental treatments & procedures your insurance does not cover. It is easy to apply for CareCredit. Once you’ve been approved, you can use CareCredit for the services you choose including LASIK, veterinary care, hearing aids, dental care and more.
